Unhappy X58 4-way Classified - Error code 25

Hey Shamino,

Not sure if you're still around but if you are I was wondering if you know of how to fix a post code 25 error on the old X58 4-way Classified.

It's a lovely motherboard and I'm kinda worried I managed to kill it so I hoped you maybe had some ideas on how I could resurrect it

Basically the problem started when I used PCB lacquer to insulate the motherboard but didn't mask off stuff like the slots and CPU socket properly so they got gunked up *face-palming* Everything seems to be fine but it just gets stuck at that error code 25 so I'm wondering if I managed to break it entirely or if there's hope to recover it

Sounds like it's not detecting a gpu, maybe some of the slots contacts are dirty. Try taking an old gpu and seat it in the slot and then remove it ten times or so.

Also are you using the first pcie slot?

If it's got into cpu socket, you are in deep rabbithole now. Try to dissolve it with acetone outdoors to keep fumes away.
