Snowfall , February 15

There was some snow afternoon on February 15, 2025. I went out to get some fresh air with trusty GFX 100, few lenses and tripod. Fallen on the ice only few times over the process, no lenses were harmed.

Trying to capture flakes on some seeds were not easy, even without wind.

Prismatic plate was fun but no sunlight to make it really shine.

Nice twisted pathway sign.

Park had mandatory creek with flowing water.

Little short tree looks like a inversed lightning, pretty cool.

Pond photos captured with Nikkor AF-S 14-24/2.8 adapted on GFX.

Author of the images:

Good snow is a smiley snow.

I like how this pinky metal sculpture blend with a barren tree behind.

Curious wild life

While I was taking photos some locals visited to observe:

There was also a very furry orange fox, but it was too cautious to let me close enough to take a photo, and there was no time to swap for GF 250/4 lens.

Some focus-stacked processed images

These micro-sized cones were really pretty looking in the snow-covered fir branches:

And no night can finish without some light paint

Orbs under the tree.
